Yesterday in Video Builders, I wrote a scathing review of a new AI editor, Capsule.
Straight up, I didn’t think the product was mass market ready. And it's certainly not something I wouldn't embed into a content team's system.
When I posted it, I expected some flak.
Instead…I got this:
Hi! CEO of Capsule here. I read your review and while it wasn't fun to read, I found myself agreeing with all your points.

A super humble, man to man response. Talk about a winning attitude.
That perked my interest. So, we took the conversation to DM's and discussed further, which led to hopping on a phone call for a deep dive on Friday.
Champ is…a champ. And I think he has the right mindset to build a solid product.
While I still can’t recommend his editor, I can recommend you follow the development of Capsule. Use it, break things and tell him.
He is very aware of it’s issues and is diligently working to make it the best he can.
We’re going to re-review the editor in 6 months to see if it’s made improvements.
But the main reason I’m telling y’all this?
To thank you for supporting our platform so we can influence the space for positive change.
